Hi, I’m Mariela “Mari” Gutierrez, the founder of Encino Law. I created this firm to offer accessible, strategic legal support to small businesses—with a special focus on women entrepreneurs working to bring their visions to life.

As a woman founder myself, supporting other women in business feels like a natural extension of who I am. I've spent my life cheering on family, friends, and clients as they’ve launched bold ideas and built incredible businesses. I know the challenges women face—from being underestimated to juggling competing demands—and I’m here to make sure legal uncertainty isn’t one of them.

I come from a family of small business owners and understand the day-to-day realities of running a business: balancing growth with compliance, protecting what you’ve built, and making decisions with clarity and confidence. It’s a privilege to use my legal training to help entrepreneurs—especially women—navigate that journey with support and peace of mind.

I’m proud to serve a diverse and values-driven community of business owners. My approach is grounded in clarity, sustainability, and long-term relationships—not just transactions.
