We collect personal information lawfully and fairly, primarily directly from you at the start and during our representation. In some cases, we may obtain information from other sources, such as:

Summary information is available upon request, while detailed requests may incur professional and disbursement fees for retrieval. If Encino Law holds information about you and you can establish that it is not accurate, complete and up-to-date, Encino Law will take reasonable steps to correct it.

Can I be denied access to my Personal Information?

Your right to access personal information is not absolute. We may deny access if:

  • It’s required or authorized by law (e.g., solicitor-client privilege)

  • Revealing it would disclose confidential commercial information

  • It could threaten another individual’s life or security

  • The information was generated during a formal dispute resolution process

If we deny access or refuse to correct information, we will explain why. Encino Law does not use your Social Insurance Number for identification or organizing your information.

Please be aware that email is not 100% secure, even with security measures in place. Exercise caution when sending personal or confidential information.

Contacting a lawyer or any member of Encino Law via email or through the website's "Contact Us" section does not establish a lawyer-client relationship.
